I'm a huge fan of Product Hunt and have been using it since 2015. It's part of my daily routine to check the latest featured products. This post by Greg Isenberg & Mario Gabriele provides fantastic insight into PH's journey from a small newsletter to a venture-funded platform that receives almost 5m visitors a month. I'm fascinated by some of the suggestions to improve the platform. (25 min read)
As your probably aware I'm pretty bullish with no-code. This new newsletter by Christian provides a deeply researched business plan for validated, profitable startups that you can start with no coding and very little money. I'm blown away by the detail he provides in each newsletter and his thorough methodology for analysing no-code business opportunities. (9 min read)
What are the principles underlying the ideal desk setup? How do we balance great design with modern technology? I recently bought my first house, and I'm planning my dream desk set up as a permanent remote worker so I've been geeking out on this platform for weeks now and building my mood board. Arun provides a deep dive into his personal desk setup and more importantly his philosophy behind it. (19 min read)

You are probably thinking โWhy on earth is this Scottish guy sharing a sunscreen product?โ ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ Hear me out. Although I havenโt seen the sun in years I can appreciate a genius viral marketing campaign when I see one (shout out to Lach & Dakota).ย All over Twitter, big names have been sharing their new job titles. I am now โChairman of the Hot Tub Cupholders Councilโ. The second reason is their incredibly nostalgic website and branding. You can read more from the founder here.ย

Angus Kaleinykas recently launched a 3D device mockup builder for your browser. After his first month's launch, he generated $7k in sales. In this post, he shares his strategy and approach. I'm a big fan of mockup generators and frequently use them to save myself a ton of time. His mockups are super clean and modern with an Apple-like aesthetic.
This isn't just one product, no.... it's 3 early access betas. Each has one thing in common - they are centred around your calendar.
Mayday: Built-in meeting scheduling tool, protects your time and will auto block time slot to avoid too many meetings.
Daybridge: Mix events, tasks, and notes together in the same place.
Vimcal: Looks to create the fastest calendar experience. It also has a handy tool for coordinating across time zones.
As some of you might know I created a series of Notion website packs. Well, this new product does just that. It's as if Notion and Wix had a baby. It's in Beta currently but as a PM I really admire their early access user journey. To get access to the beta you can schedule a call for an onboarding session and they will even help you create a website using their platform.
"Not another audio-based platform Sam! that was sooo this March" - Ye I know but this one is a little different. Think ClubHouse but with more of a focus on podcasting. Share a link with the other parties involved and start recording straight from your mobile device - then publish on the platform for distribution.

I'll leave you with this odd-looking retro device to mull over. I was recently sucked down a super niche internet sub-culture known as "Cyberdecks". They are basically small form factor retro PC devices created by a wacky bunch of enthusiasts. Wait until you see some of the other devices in this thread. And if you really want to go deep check out this sub-Reddit.
That's it for this month!
